This month, TheSituation.co.uk has teamed up with Def Jam to give you the chance to win one of five Rihanna branded umbrellas.
Less than two years ago the Bajan beauty burst onto the music scene when ‘Pon De Replay’ stormed the British charts reaching No.2. Rihanna reached the No.2 spot again with the pop classic ‘S.O.S.’ a few months later, which was followed by the stunning ballad ‘Unfaithful’ which once again left her frustratingly in second place. Now, with the infectious 'Umbrella', Rihanna has surpassed all of her previous achievements and taken the country by storm giving Rihanna her first UK No.1 - on download sales alone. She is only the second artist to ever achieve this, following Gnarls Barkley’s ‘Crazy’. Rihanna is also the youngest ever artist to reach No.1 on downloads alone, at the tender age of 19.
And last week the singing star went on to achieve yet another amazing feat – she topped the US Billboard and UK singles charts at the same time.
Her third album, 'Good Girl Gone Bad' has also been a huge smash hit, entering the UK album charts at pole position on Sunday (10th June).
The UK's Number 1 album, 'Good Girl Gone Bad', and the nation's favourite single 'Umbrella', is avaialble now to buy or download.
To celebrate Rihanna's success, The Situation have five Rihanna branded umbrellas to give away!
